Abstract: Aiming at the study development of global change, IGBP offered the newest study direction about the accommodation between human and environment during the last 2 000 years. China possesses the best condition to study this item. Based on characteristics of human activities in China in the last 2 000 years, this paper offers a scientific scheme for the study of adaptation between human and environment. It is also assumed that people have perception and mobile reflection, so every action that they adjust their own production and living manner can be looked as information, reflecting man land relationship. By the way, we can find the evidences to study thoroughly the sustainable use of earth system and the tendency of global change.
