    STUDY ON THE FLORISTIC GEOGRAPHY IN SOUTH TAIHANG-ZHONGTIAO MOUNTAIN

    The folra comprises 1627 spcies in 618 genera,of which 15 genera are endemic to China.Twenty one larger families which contain more than 67% of thd total species are discussed.The phytogeographical effinities of the genera are analysel and briefly discussed.The distribusion patterns of species in north-temperate genera are analysed and discussed, nd some comparisons at genetic level and species level are made with the other four mountainous regions in Chnna.The result is that the flora of South Taihang-Zhongtiao Mountain belong to the distribution type of temperate,which is a transitional region from temperate to subtropical flora.So it may be a subregion iion line of the North China region.The analysis of relics of the Tertiary flora appears that South Taihag-Zhongtiao Mountain may be a relic and variety center flora in Northern China.

    THE CHANGE OF SEX FATIO AND ITS PROVINCIAL DIFFERENCE OF CHINA IN 1980’S

    In 1980's the sex ratio of the total population in China and in most.of the provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities increased obviously, meanwhile it differed greatly in each provincial destrict.these characteristics are closely related with natural growth and mechanical increase of population in China.and the main cause is the change of sex ratio at birth.The ratio at birth in China and in most of the provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, except Shanghai.Anhui.Guizhou.Qinghai,Xinjiang,rose in varying degrees from 1981 to 1989.The sex ratio of China has been a little higher for a long time.Undoubtedly,its increase has bad effect on finding partner's in marriage to male.Now this phenomenon is not common in China.But it is very eminent in western rural areas.If appropriate policies for decreasing sex ratio at bitrh are not taken.this problem will become more serious.

    CHARACTERISTICS OF ATMOPHERIC TURBIDIT OVER THE QINGHAI-XIZANG PLATEAU

    In this paper, the calculated method of atmospheric turbidity over the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau is obtained by comparison of various methods to calculate Å ngstrom atmospheric turbidity.The atmospheric-turbidity ciefficients at some stations over the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau from August 1982 to July 1983 are calculated by using the observational data of solar direct radiation.and their characteristics are analysed.In addition, the empiric formula to calculate atmospheric turbidity coefficients are fitted by means of surface conventional meteorological data, the characteristics of temporal and spatial variations are analysed over the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau in thie paper.

    EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON NONPOINT SOURCES OF WATER POLLUTION IN THE REGION OF OILFIELD-TAKING SHENGLI OILFIELD AS AN EXAMPLE

    Located on the Yellow River Delta,Shengli oilfield is the second biggest oilfield in China.A great quantity of crude oil drops on the surface in the oil exploitation.Under, the erosion of rainfall, the oil pollutants on the surface arc removed and entered into water area by the surface runoff.As a reault, it makes severe damages to water environment,including river,shallow sea.So,runoff coming from every land owd is regarded as nonpoint sources of oil pollution to water environment.According to the origination and development of nonpoint source pollution,nonpoint sources of oil pollution to water environment in the experimental study region are classified into thirteen categories.The erosion of oil are related to the runoff volume,oil loadings,and the distr ibution area of nonpoint sources.The first one related to the precipitation and the value of CNwhich mainly depend on the hydrographic types (four types are classified in the experimental study region).The second one can be obtained from the results of samples analysis, the third one can be measured from the land use map.Applying the results of experimental study to the whole Yellow River Delta,the annual eroston of oil in the whole Yellow River Delta is calculated.The contribution of nonpoint sources to the oil volume of entering marine in Yellow River Delta is 11.58%.

    COMPLEMENTARY RELATIONSHIP EVAPOTRANSPIRATION THEORY AND ITS APPLICATION

    The complementary relationship evapotranspiration theory and models are discussed and ex plored.Based on the long-term observed solar radiation, evaporation and meteorological data in Hubei Province, the formulas for calculating potential and wet surface evapotranspiration are proposed and established.Morton models(CRAE,CRWE and CRLE) are modified and used to estimate catchment evapotranspiretion and lake evaporation.It is shown thaqt the model estimaters are very close to the Pan data and water balance estimator.The modified models provide a fairly reliable estimate of monthly and annual evaporation.The complementary relationship theory provides another way for the resea ch and the estimation of evapotranspiration.

    The paper having analysed the ecological environment and the tea production condition in China and also studied the ccological adaptability differences of every breed tea tree now puts forward a new scheme for tea tree ecological environment regionalization in China.The new region-alization scheme has a two-level system.The first level units have four tegions, They are south temperate zone tea-producing region (leaflet breed tea tree cultivable region), north subtropical zone tea-producing region (super quality leaflet breed tea tree normal region),subtropical zone tea-producing region(super quality leaflet tree breed optimum region), and south subtropical, tropical Zone tea-producing region (grandifoliate breed tea tree normal region).The second level units have nine regions.The new regionalization scheme,which can indicate the pro-duetion direction of different tea producing area in China and point out the distinction of China tea production.is very important for the future development of China tea production and China tea export trade.

    Field investigations have been carried out in the.empty cirque a the head of Urumqi River, Tian Shan,for the 1988-1991 period,in order to study features of sorted circles in different developmental stages and diversith of sorted circles in the same developemental stage.The features of the sorted circles have been analysed with the form of the sorted in the same devlopmental stage.The features of the sorted circle,grain size, water content,frost heave stone sorting,fabric and reference to wooden stakes inserted vertically into the ground.The results show that the sorting degree becomes much better; the influenced of frostheave decreases gradually; and the centre of sorted circles was covered by vegetation increasingly from the upper to lower sorted circles (from infant stage to old stage).Moreover, the general tendency of the frostheave is central frostheave>internal gutter frostheave>gutter frostheave in a sorted circle.The infant sorted circles developed near the material source region and the mature sorted circles were formed far from the source region in the same place.

    ANALYSIS OF THE TREND OF VISIBILITY CHANGE IN THE LAST 30 YEARS AT FOSHAN

    In this paper, the hours of the visibility Abstract≤4 or 10 km every season are counted in the last 30 years at Foshan.It is found that the hours of the visibility≥4 or 10km every season are remarkably ascented in the model of the exponential function in the last 30 years.It is also found that there is no remarkable change trends in the relative humudity so the visibility change trends are not in relation with the relative humudity.There is the greatest in the frequencies of the visibilty≤4 and their increase in the last 30 years in the calm every season, the second greatest in the downwind of the city, and the smallest in the weatherside of the city.It is noticed theat the hours of the calm every season are added in the last 30 years.So the visibility change trends at Foshan are relative with the wind directions.

    The circular locality is used to express the date that the hydrologic characteristics occur in a year, the radial distance to express the correspondent characteristic value, and the density value in the partial ring area is calculated,the isodense is drawn, therefore the isogram of the hygrologic characteristics is got.The isogram reflects the dominating centre that the hydrologic characteristics occur in a year and the corresppondent dominating date and dominating value.The dominance is used to express the probability that they occur.The dominating date and dominating value are important features that the hydrologic characteristics allot in a year.The paper uses the representation of isogram to enunciate and analyze the hydrologic phenomenon in objective existence.

    There was a ohvious decrease of sand and wind activities during the last tne years in beijing.The average windy days and the sand-driving wind days from 1991 to 1992 were 34% and 21.9% respectively as compared with the multi-year average values before 1980.The reason of decrease of sand-driving wind days was that the sand producted in Beijing area itself decreased because of a better-green-layer above land.But if the greening-work in the upper-reach of wind area delays, it will have aimpact on the sand and wind activities in Beijing.
