在滹沱河流域两岸的观察中发现,达呼尔黄鼠对黄土的强烈挖掘活动,可以促使和加速黄土区冲沟崩塌侵蚀的发生和发展。经相关和回归检验,表明自然数量的黄鼠数量及其挖掘的洞口土堆的体积量与黄土塌方的体积量之间存在着明显的正相关关系,变量间的相互影响是显著的。
This paper contributes a quantitative record obtained from an observatioa of the burrowing habit of Suslik (Citellus dauricus) as an example to show the relationship between loess erosion and rodent excavation.The test by means of regression and correlation indicates that the high population density of Suslik of the species causing a strong burrowing activities accelerates the loess collapss during the gully erosion processes.
