本文简要介绍了近三十年来非洲旱灾的基本情况,分析了其形成的原因,并指出,总的说来,干旱是形成非洲旱灾的一个自然因素,但它不等于旱灾.从环境的角度来看,非洲旱灾更重要的原因是人类不适当的土地利用和管理.文章最后提出了非洲防止旱灾的若干战略原则和建议.

A number of very serious droughts occurred in many regions of Africa dufing the past 30 Years.It is commonly considered that they are among the most serious disasters after the Second World War in the world.The basic situations of the droughts are introduced briefly, and the main causes are analysed in detail in the paper,The lack of rainfall is one of the fators producing the droughts in Africa, but it is not the real cause of them.From the environmental viewpoints,the droughts in Africa are resulted from unsuitable land uses and managements by man,and in essence they are the results of the human environmental disturbance.Finally,the strategy for preventing droughts in Africa is suggested.
