鱼类分布区划是动物地理学的一个重要内容。陕西省境内自然地带复杂,自北向南适于不同鱼类生存的生态环境差异很大。根据不同地带水域中鱼类区系成分的差异,结合不同类群间系统发育关系及与地域发生性质的一致性分析,同时考虑各区域内经济发展的合理布局及其发展的实际可能性,将陕西省鱼类区划分为四个区和两个亚区:一、陕北高原区;二、黄土高原及渭河谷地区,(1)延安黄土高原亚区,(2)渭河谷地亚区;三、秦岭高山区;四、汉江谷地区。

The study on zoogeographical division of freshwater fishes is important for utilizing natural resources and social productivity rationally,and using natural resources fully.There are great differences between different natural geographical zones and between different living surroundings of fishes from the north to the south in Shaanxi Province.China.Based on the difference of composition of fishfauna in different waters and areas and the interelationship between the systematics of fish groups and geographical events in history,and also based on the rational distribution of economy and the possible development of economy in various areas,the zoogeographical division of freshwater fishes in Shaanxi Province can be made.The province can be divided into four regions and two subregions:Ⅰ Windy and Dusty Region of Yulin Ⅱ Loss Plateau and Weihe River Valley Region Ⅱ₁ Loss Plateau Subregion of Yanan Ⅱ₂ Weihe River Valley Subregion Ⅲ Qinling Mountain Region Ⅳ Sothern Plain Region.
