Based on the classification of land types, this paper discusses the structure of land types and the methodology of comprehensive physical regionali-zation in the Qinling mountains region.The structure of land types can be divided into component structure, distribution structure, regional structure and succession structure.There are different types of distribution structures in different levels of land types, such as east-westward horizontal distribution in land order,vertical belt distribution structure in the first-level land types and agonal distribution structure in the second-level land typeg.Regional structure in this region can be divided into four types: basin type, low mountain and hill type,middle mountain type and high mountain type. And succession structure can be divided into quantity and quality types.Based on the structure of vertical physical belts, two natural regions, six natural subregions and seventeen natural areas are delimited.
