In this paper,we define the winter monsoon high pressure with Northern Hemisphere sea level pressure data in 1951/1986. Analyzing the relationships between the winter monsoon high pressure and polar thermal regime and East Asia temperature, we found, the monsoon high pressure is closely related to north polesea ice in preceding Autumn and the polar atmospheric temperature in March and April. The variety of monsoon high pressure intensity affects the winter temperature more clearly in China than in southeast USSR Japan etc.
