Abstract

The folra comprises 1627 spcies in 618 genera,of which 15 genera are endemic to China.Twenty one larger families which contain more than 67% of thd total species are discussed. The phytogeographical effinities of the genera are analysel and briefly discussed. The distribusion patterns of species in north-temperate genera are analysed and discussed, nd some comparisons at genetic level and species level are made with the other four mountainous regions in Chnna. The result is that the flora of South Taihang-Zhongtiao Mountain belong to the distribution type of temperate, which is a transitional region from temperate to subtropical flora. So it may be a subregion iion line of the North China region. The analysis of relics of the Tertiary flora appears that South Taihag-Zhongtiao Mountain may be a relic and variety center flora in Northern China.
